Is turning a fluorescent lamp 90 degrees (so it clicks off) save electricity?
Is turning a fluorescent lamp 90 degrees (so it clicks off) save electricity? Even if the ballast is still on? They did this at work, but all the lights in the office on the same switch, so the ballasts / transformers in the lights still supplied with electricity? Some of the lights they did so still flickers a little bit of power leads me to believe that they could not save them all. Ideas?
